Synthetic space-scapes/G&D2
Packaging materials made of expanded polystyrenes have a variety of forms that create questionable spaces. They primarily serve to protect the objects to be packaged, housing and supporting, sorting and bounding them. Because they preserve objects that are limited in size to the grasping capabilities of a few hands, their scale resembles. If you put them together, city-like structures emerge....
Now what is in all these niches and spaces, who or what could inhabit them, fill them? Do they remain in shape, or do they undergo modifications?
With classical graphic representation methods we will examine Styrofoam agglomerations and invert their immanent spaces. On paper, they are thus available to experimental spatial extensions, which will be represented in combination of pencil and charcoal pencils with other media suitable for paper in perspective spatial and urban sections.
