How can the variety of expressions of the human body be made visible in drawing? In this nude drawing course the perception and representation of proportions, directions, spatiality, light and shadow through the drawing of the human figure shall be trained. The aim is to simulate movements by shifting the axes, to understand the distribution of weight, and to implement and check what has been seen using different drawing materials such as ink, charcoal, oil crayons, etc. The different materials force different types of observation. As the course progresses, the relationship between the person and the space, their mutual dependence in the interplay of light and shadow, and mutual effects are increasingly addressed.
